The BYD DOLPHIN is a fresh and dynamic addition to the automotive world, offering a compact and versatile hatchback in the C-segment. As the most compact model in the BYD lineup, the DOLPHIN doesn’t compromise on space.

Despite its compact size, the BYD DOLPHIN comfortably seats up to five adults. Packed with convenience, it comes equipped with a host of standard features, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Intelligent Cruise Control, and surround-view cameras.

The BYD DOLPHIN features a sleek exterior, characterised by sharp creases and smooth curves that come together in an elegant design. This agile hatchback combines efficiency with practicality, offering easy accessibility. Its distinctive rounded shape is immediately recognisable, enhanced by striking detailing on the doors.

With a generous 2.70m wheelbase, the DOLPHIN offers ample space for both driver and passengers. The standard 16-inch alloy wheels can also be upgraded to 17-inch wheels, giving you the option of a more sporty look.

SAFETY

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

The BYD DOLPHIN sets a new standard for safety in electric vehicles, offering an extensive range of advanced driver assistance features as standard. Renowned for its safety, every version of the BYD DOLPHIN comes equipped with a full suite of technologies, including a 360-degree camera, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Keep Assistance (LKA), and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC).

Further enhancing its safety credentials, the BYD DOLPHIN also includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Rear Cross Traffic Brake (RTCB) as standard. Using millimetre-wave radar, these systems actively detect approaching vehicles during reverse manoeuvres. If a potential collision is detected, the car will alert the driver and automatically apply the brakes, reinforcing its commitment to keeping you safe on the road.

e-PLATFORM 3.0

Built on the advanced BYD e-Platform 3.0, specifically designed for pure electric vehicles, the BYD DOLPHIN offers significant advantages in intelligence, efficiency, safety, and aesthetics. Thanks to the e-Platform 3.0, the DOLPHIN features a more expansive and visually appealing design, with short front and rear overhangs and an extended wheelbase. This not only enhances its overall look but also creates a more spacious rear passenger area, complete with a flat floor for added comfort and ample space for those in the middle seat.

HIGH PERFORMANCE BATTERY

BYD BLADE BATTERY

The revolutionary Blade Battery, a key feature of the BYD DOLPHIN, has been redefining safety, durability, and performance in the electric vehicle (EV) industry for over 28 years. Made from lithium iron phosphate (LFP), a secure and sustainable material free from scarce raw materials like nickel and cobalt, this battery offers exceptional advantages. The BYD DOLPHIN is equipped with a 60 kWh LFP Blade Battery, providing an impressive range of up to 427 km on a single charge.

With 11 kW AC charging, the BYD DOLPHIN can be fully recharged in around 8 hours from empty. It also supports 100 kW DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 29 minutes.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The BYD DOLPHIN is equipped with an advanced heat pump system as standard, boosting energy efficiency and extending overall range. This innovative system captures residual heat from multiple sources, including the powertrain, cabin, and batteries, to provide both heating and cooling.

Designed for optimal performance across a wide range of temperatures, the heat pump system ensures the BYD DOLPHIN maintains comfort in all weather conditions, whether hot or cold.
